International NEWCAST Award

Awarded at NEWCAST 2015

Logo NEWCAST-Award

Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, the Confederation of German Foundry Industry (BDG) and the Association of German Foundrymen e.V. (VDG) are once more looking for the most innovative and outstanding cast parts of the industry. The presentation of the NEWCAST Award is again the highlight of the supporting programme of the well-known foundry trade fair in Düsseldorf.

The competition for the best cast part amongst the exhibited cast parts takes place in the following categories:

1) Award for the best substitution of another manufacturing method
2) Award for the cast part with the best function integration
3) Award for the best casting-technical solution – broadening the casting-technical borders

Every exhibitor at NEWCAST may submit one cast part per award for the competition. Present your cast parts to the jury of specialists from the BDG committee “Designing in Casting“.
